The Table visualization is where all Inzata visualizations start. It has many options which will be explained below. You can add as many metrics as you want to a table and they will display to the right of the attributes contained in the rows of your report. Any attributes contained in the columns of the report will show above the metrics. Anything within your report can be sorted by ascending or descending order by clicking on the double arrows to the right of the object name. All attributes can be sorted alphabetically. Dates must be in the format YYYY-MM-DD to be sorted in this way (this sorting is provided by our date enrichment). Sorting precedence is metrics above all and then upper level attributes first. An upper level attribute is an attribute that is furthest left (in case of rows) or on top of the others (in case of columns). Tables can also display the conditional formatting set within metrics. An Inzata table can show a maximum of 50,000 rows.

Special Options and Parameters:

  • Layout 
    • Rows per page – Inzata supports pagination within its tables, if the number of rows within a table goes beyond the number set here Inzata will show the option to click through the below pages
    • Show sum total for columns – Displays column totals
    • Show sum total for rows – Display row totals
  • Data Section
    • Background color – Sets the background color for the cells in the table
    • Text color – Sets a color for the text within the cells, this will overwrite any conditional formatting
    • Separator – Sets the color, thickness and style of the separator in the data section of the table
  • Attribute Elements Section
    • Background color – Sets background color within the cells containing the attribute elements (where you see “Motorcycles” and “1:10” in the above image)
    • Text color – Sets element cells text color
    • Separator – Sets the color, thickness and style of the separator in the attribute elements section
    • Column header align – Sets how the text should be aligned within the cells of any elements within columns
    • Row header align – Sets how the text should be aligned within the cells of any elements within rows
  • Attributes header section
    • Background color – Sets the color of the background in the attributes header section (this is where you can see “Product_Line” and “Product_Scale” in the above image)
    • Text Color – Sets the color of the attribute header text
    • Separator – Sets the color, thickness and style of the separator in the attributes header section
